We played around a bit for new way to incorporate the delicious avocado into your meals, and we really like it as a creamy sauce that doesn't even need cooking.
Serving size: This recipe makes approximately 4 (3.25 ounce) servings
Macronutrient Balance: 0.2g Protein / 15.8g Fat / 7.4g Carbohydrates
Ingredients:
2 avocados - discard skin and seed
2 garlic cloves
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
1/2 tsp black pepper
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Toss all ingredients in a food processor or blender and pulse for a few seconds for a chunky consistency, or 15 seconds for a smoother consistency.
Enjoy over your favorite veggie noodles!
