Chocolate Avocado Smoothie


Having some sugar cravings or missing that piece of chocolate you would have after lunch? We've got you covered with this killer chocolate avocado smoothie!  

Serving size: This recipe makes 1 (14 oz) serving Macronutrient Balance: 13g Protein / 15.2g Fat / 34.7g Carbohydrates 



Ingredients: 

  • 1 small ripe banana (about 3.2 oz) - cold or frozen

  • 1/2 avocado - cold

  • 1/3 cup 2% Plain Greek Yogurt

  • 1/2 cup whole milk

  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3 or more ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Put all ingredients into a blender and pulse until smooth and enjoy!

Notes and Options: This is a little bit of a thicker consistency smoothie, so if you like yours on the thinner side then add a tablespoon or two of cold water. Want it thicker or more frozen? Add more ice. Want no dairy? Replace milk with almond milk and remove the yogurt...get riffing!
